‘Digital progress uneven across states’: Report

New Delhi: India is undergoing a digital transformation at the subnational level, with some states building world-class digital ecosystems while others continue to lag, according to a report released by the ICRIER-Prosus Centre for Internet and Digital Economy on Friday. Delhi leads with a digitalisation score of 63.6, followed by Kerala (54.2), Karnataka (51.9), Maharashtra (49.6) and Haryana (48.5). Jharkhand ranks last at 25.1, as per the report titled ‘State of India’s Digital Economy: A Subnational Perspective’.
