YouTube TV to launch genre-based plans in 2026
YouTube has announced that YouTube TV will roll out new genre-based subscription plans in early 2026. With this new initiative the company aims to offer greater choice and flexibility to its subscribers. “Early next year, we’ll launch YouTube TV Plans, bringing more choice and flexibility to our subscribers with over 10 genre-specific packages,” said YouTube. Presently, YouTube offers a single plan with more than 100 channels. The company has now revealed that starting next year the subscribers will have the flexibility to choose from more than 10-genre specific packages.
“TV should be easy, giving viewers greater control over what they want to watch. Our goal is to let you tailor your subscription with more options.
