TIME Magazine has named CEO of Google-owned YouTube as 2025 CEO of the year. Mohan took charge as YouTube CEO in 2023 after his mentor Susan Wojcicki stepped down. Since then, the social platform has increased its dominance of the attention economy against considerable competition, TIME writes.
“He’s quiet-spoken, deliberative, hard to ruffle. He likes watching sports, going to his daughters’ dance recitals, and open white shirts, just normal stuff. His favorite candy is the not-very-exciting Butterfinger.
