Microsoft Windows head Pavan Davuluri responds to ‘buggy AI’ feature backlash: ‘We know words aren’t enough…’

Microsoft’s Windows chief, Pavan Davaluri, has addressed customer criticism towards the latest Windows 11 update. The backlash came after he said Windows would transform into an “agentic OS.”. He used this phrase to describe the latest version of Windows, which is heavily focused on AI tools. Many customers told him that Windows still has too many unfinished features and basic issues that should be fixed first. The complaints grew so much that Davaluri was forced to turn off replies to his original post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Finally, Davaluri responded to specific concerns about Windows no longer being developer- or power-user-friendly and that the company is actually taking away user control.
