India needs to adopt next-gen technologies for human spaceflight missions: Shubanshu Shukla

At the Bengaluru Tech Summit, India’s second astronaut to travel to space, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, shared insights from his 20-day stay aboard the ISS in June. Addressing students, researchers, and industry leaders, he said that India would need to build everything from a simple straw to a sophisticated life-support system if long-duration crewed missions have to be put into space by the country.
