ITS officers at forefront of modern telecom research: DoT’s Neeraj Mittal

NEW DELHI: The Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) cadre officers are at the forefront of driving India into next-generation technologies, including terabit routing, quantum encryption, 5G, and 6G research, according to a top official of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

“We talk of terabit routing, quantum encryption, 5G networks, and 6G research. All is due to the unwavered dedication and expertise that is here today; you (ITS officials) have kept India’s telecom sector alive, globally competitive, resilient, and secure,” said Neeraj Mittal, secretary, DoT, at the diamond jubilee event of the ITS officials.
