Vodafone Idea shares jump 3% after Q2 loss narrows, ARPU grows
Vodafone Idea shares jumped 2.62% to their intraday high of ₹9.76 on the BSE in early trade on Tuesday, November 11, after the telecom operator reported a narrowing of its consolidated net loss for the September quarter of FY26. The net loss reduced to ₹5,524 crore, compared to ₹7,176 crore in the same quarter a year earlier. The company attributed the loss to its owners.
Vodafone Idea reported a rise in its customer Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) as well. The ARPU (excluding M2M users) grew to ₹180 in Q2FY26, compared to ₹166 in Q2FY25. This marks an 8.7% year-on-year increase.
