Airtel Africa modernises mobile money platform with Comviva’s cloud-native solution

NEW DELHI: Airtel Money, the mobile money arm of Airtel Africa, has announced the launch of its next-generation, cloud-native mobile money platform, powered by Comviva’s Mobiquity Pay solution, across its African markets.

This deployment marks the beginning of a major continent-wide digital transformation program designed to redefine how Airtel Money delivers financial services to its 49.8 million customers, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
