India’s AI, data centre, automotive expansion favourable, says Qualcomm’s Alex Katouzian

NEW DELHI: Chipset multinational Qualcomm Technologies said that it maintains “strong relationships” with India and incumbent telecom carriers – Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea as well as retail customers, and the US company is benefitting from the government’s artificial intelligence (AI), data centre and automotive growth strategy.

“Indian relationships are super strong from the government side to retail and the carrier side to new OEM opportunities. The government sees the benefits of AI, data center, and automotive growth, which benefit us,” Qualcomm Technologies Group General Manager, Mobile, Compute, & XR (MCX), Alex Katouzian told ETTelecom.
