OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that the company will introduce new compute-intensive offerings in the coming weeks, with some features limited to paid subscribers. In a post on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), Altman stated that certain features will initially be restricted to Pro subscribers, while some new products may carry additional charges. “Over the next few weeks, we are launching some new compute-intensive offerings. Because of the associated costs, some features will initially only be available to Pro subscribers, and some new products will have additional fees,” he wrote in the post.
In the post, Sam Altman added that the company’s long-term goal is to reduce the cost of artificial intelligence and expand access.
