VMware says AI major ‘investment area’, enhances VCF 9.0 for enterprises
MUMBAI: Virtualisation software major VMware on Tuesday said it is significantly investing in the artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and urged enterprises to adopt the latest iteration of its private cloud solution.
“Our big investment area is around AI. Teams at VMware and Nvidia have jointly innovated at the foundational level to ensure that VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) runs AI workloads as well or better than bare metal,” said Krish Prasad, senior vice president and general manager of Broadcom’s VCF division, at the company’s “Explore on Tour” event.
