TRAI directs DTH, MSO, HITS, IPTV operators to furnish performance reports
NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Wednesday directed distribution platform operators (DPOs) – including direct-to-home, multi-system operators (MSOs), headend-in-the-sky (HITS), and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) – to publish performance monitoring reports (PMRs) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
As per TRAI, all DPOs are now required to submit a Monthly Performance Monitoring Report (M-PMR) within ten days of the end of each month and a Quarterly Performance Monitoring Report (Q-PMR) within fifteen days of the end of each quarter.
