Wipro buys HARMAN’s DTS business unit for ₹3,270 crore
Wipro Limited, the technology services and consulting company, will acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN, a Samsung company, Wipro said on Thursday.
The $375 million (₹3,270 crore) transaction will accelerate Wipro’s mission to deliver next-generation engineering research & development (ER&D) services, it said.
ET first reported on 14 August that Wipro is competing with PE fund Warburg Pincus to acquire the Harman India DTS business.
