Reliance Jio removes 1GB per day prepaid plan
NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio has scrapped its 1GB per day prepaid plan, priced at ₹249, in a bid to upgrade its users to higher-value offerings and effectively drive more data consumption on its networks, according to the latest listing on the telecom operator’s website.
The discontinued plan offered 28 days of validity. Jio users can, however, now buy the slightly affordable ₹239 prepaid plan, which provides 1.5GB data per day (or 33GB total data), unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, as well as access to two Jio over-the-top (OTT) applications – JioTV and JioAICloud.
