Retail interest spikes in Vodafone Idea with over 1 lakh new shareholders in Q1
Vodafone Idea saw a surge in the number of retail shareholders in the June 2025 quarter. According to the latest shareholding data uploaded to the exchanges, the telecom operator added 1.17 lakh new retail investors, pushing the total count to 60.24 lakh—up from 59.07 lakh at the end of the March quarter.
Retail investors, defined as those holding equity shares worth up to ₹2 lakh, also increased their collective shareholding volume. They held 543 crore shares as of June 2025, compared to 522 crore shares in March.
