US visa cost jump over 100% for H-1B workers, students and tourists
Travelling to America will become much more costly soon. In addition to the visa processing fee for U.S. visas, nonimmigrants will soon be required to pay two additional fees: the Visa Integrity Fee and the fee for Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record. In addition to the processing fee, there are other charges as well, depending on the type of visa.
A citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must first obtain a visa, either a nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent residence. Based on the category, a processing fee must be paid to obtain the visa.
