Capgemini to acquire WNS for $3.3 billion

French technology major Capgemini has agreed to buy WNS, an Indian-origin provider of business process management (BPM) technology, for $3.3 billion (approximately Rs 28,280 crore) in cash.
The global consulting and technology group said on Monday that it is offering $76.5 per WNS share, which translates into a 17% premium to the stock’s closing price on Thursday, July 3, in New York. The price is a 27% premium to the 30-day average and 28% to the last 90-day average share price.
