Epson looking to enhance localisation efforts in India: Junkichi Yoshida

Epson is setting its sights on significantly increasing local content in its products manufactured in India over the next few years. The company, known for its printers, is actively working to leverage India’s improving industrial infrastructure and reduce lead times to market, Junkichi Yoshida, global president and CEO of Seiko Epson Corp, told ET.

The company started its first ink-tank printer manufacturing plant in the country in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai.
