ChatGPT-maker OpenAI acquires team from AI startup Crossing Minds

OpenAI is expanding its AI team. Crossing Minds, a startup specialising in AI recommendation systems for e-commerce businesses has announced that its core team is joining the ChatGPT-maker as the Microsoft-backed tech company pushed into enhancing personalisation and recommendation capabilities.

In a statement posted on their website, Crossing Minds’ co-founders expressed their enthusiasm for the move. While the exact number of team members transitioning to OpenAI remains unconfirmed, Crossing Minds co-founder Alexandre Robicquet has already updated his LinkedIn profile, now listing his role as “Research, Post-training and Agents at OpenAI.”
