Nintendo has stopped selling its products directly through e-commerce major Amazon in the US following a dispute over unauthorized sales by third-party sellers, reports Bloomberg. The conflict reportedly began when Nintendo noticed third-party merchants selling its games in the US at lower prices than the company’s official rates.
According to a source cited by Bloomberg, these sellers were buying stock in Southeast Asia and exporting it to the US. Nintendo responded by pulling direct listings from Amazon’s US site last year.
