Who is Indian American Vaniya Agrawal who ‘shamed’ Microsoft CEOs at the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations and sent company-wide email announcing resignation
Microsoft’s 50th anniversary celebrations were disrupted twice by Pro-Palestine supporters at the company’s Redmond, Washington, headquarters last week. In both cases the employees who disrupted the event were women employees. Another common thing was that the duo sent company-wide emails regarding their protest at the event.
In the first incident, a software engineer named Ibtihal Aboussad in the company’s artificial intelligence division yelled at Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman when he was delivering a speech. “Mustafa, shame on you,” the employee, Ibtihal Aboussad, said as she walked towards the stage.
