Vodafone Idea offers to give up some Spectrum to manage 2015 auction payments

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has written to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that if it could surrender some spectrum acquired in auctions before 2021, its securitisation or bank guarantee (BG) requirement for the airwaves bought in the March 2015 auction would drop to Rs 2,900 crore from the current Rs 6,091 crore.
