Tech and telecom companies seek sops for submarine cable infra

Technology and telecom companies are seeking government incentives such as lower licence fees on cable landing stations, declaring subsea cables as critical assets, tax exemptions on cable imports and creation of a separate cable corridor to attract more investments in submarine cable infrastructure in India.
