Building Trust in AI

The National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI) has released a joint high-level risk analysis report titled “Building Trust in AI through a Cyber-Risk-Based Approach.” Co-signed by several international agencies and government entities, including India’s CERT-In, the report advocates for a risk-based cybersecurity strategy to promote trust in AI systems.

The document underscores AI’s transformative role across various sectors such as defense, energy, health and finance. While highlighting the swift adoption of AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and the growing dependence on AI systems, it stresses the importance of addressing cybersecurity risks to ensure the safe, responsible development of AI.
