DoT, WhatsApp to jointly counter online scams, spam in India

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has partnered with the Meta-backed WhatsApp platform to extend the US social media giant’s safety campaign against online scams and spam in India, christened `Scam Se Bacho’.
