Kolkata teen blindfolded, set ablaze in attack filmed for social media reel; three held

A teenage boy was allegedly blindfolded, doused with petrol and set on fire by a group of youths in south Kolkata, with the assault reportedly recorded on a mobile phone for a social media reel. Police have arrested three accused, including two minors, in connection with the October 27 incident in Nelinagar, under the Garfa police station area.

The victim sustained burn injuries to his chest and abdomen and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. His condition is stable, a police officer said on Friday.
