Industry Reaction

The Union Budget 2025-26, presented by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, details the government’s economic strategy and initiatives aimed at fostering growth, inclusivity and development across multiple sectors. Among the key announcements are:

• The government plans to establish 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in government schools over the next five years.
• Broadband connectivity will be provided to all government secondary schools and primary health centres in rural areas under the BharatNet project.
• Five National Centres of Excellence for skilling will be created in collaboration with global experts and partners to prepare youth for the “Make for India, Make for the World” manufacturing initiative.
