ChatGPT down again: Second outage in a month raises concerns

ChatGPT, the popular AI chatbot from OpenAI, experienced a second major outage on December 27th. According to DownDetector, a website that tracks online service outages, users began reporting problems around 1:30 PM Eastern Time (12:00 AM India Standard Time).

During the outage, ChatGPT reportedly shut down abruptly and stopped responding to user requests. The majority of those affected appear to be based in the United States. The cause of this outage remains unclear.
