Cyber Security Rules

On November 21, 2024, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has released a set of stringent cybersecurity rules aimed at bolstering the security framework of the country’s telecommunication sector. Known as the Telecom Cyber Security Rules, 2024, these regulations were notified under the updated Telecom Act and came into effect on November 21, 2024.
