Government mulls 5% cut in electronics imports to boost domestic production from FY25: sources

The government is likely to consider asking all electronics companies to reduce the overall import of laptops, tablets, all-in-one personal computers, ultra-small form factor computers, and servers by 5% of their total import bill, sources told ET.
