Apple may launch Vision Pro 2 in 2025, puts plans for cheaper version on hold

Apple’s ambitious foray into augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) is set to continue with the highly anticipated launch of the Vision Pro 2. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman the tech giant is targeting a release window between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 for its next-generation headset.
The Vision Pro 2 is expected to build upon the unique features of its predecessor, offering enhanced performance and a more immersive user experience. Rumours suggest that the device will be powered by the powerful M5 chip, ensuring seamless multitasking and demanding AR/VR applications.
