Aadhar e-KYC must for Samagra schemes

As per fresh directives issued by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment on Saturday Aadhar e-KYC will now be mandatory for all schemes operated through the Samagra portal. “Henceforth, any beneficiary must complete their Aadhaar e-KYC on the Samagra portal to avail benefits of departmental scheme,” said a media brief issued by the department.

Completion of Aadhaar e-KYC on the Samagra portal will be necessary for applications being registered on the departmental portal. For schemes without an online system, the relevant approving authority will verify the Aadhaar e-KYC on the Samagra portal before granting approvals.
