Centre starts paying out to Micron under semiconductor scheme

NEW DELHI: The government has initiated a disbursement process for the US-based Micron Technology, as a part of prestigious production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme in a bid to promote the semiconductor sector.

“Disbursal has started for Micron, and for others including Tata, it will start now. So, we are collecting their details in terms of disbursement,” Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) Secretary, S Krishnan told ETTelecom.
