Govt to soon float tender for IndiaAI data sets platform

Under the Rs 10,000 crore IndiaAI mission, the ministry of electronics and IT (MeitY) will soon float a request for proposal (RFP) to create data sets platform. The IndiaAI data sets platform will be a one-stop location wherein anonymised, non-personal data provided by government and private organisations will be made available to Indian startups, researchers and academia to train their AI models.

Post the tender, the selected operator will be responsible for creating the platform with features such as real-time data sharing via application interface (APIs), AI software libraries, AI models, data annotation service, data visualisation engine, among others, according to officials.
