OpenAI has launched a new tool called the CriticGPT to catch errors in ChatGPT’s code output. The company claims that CriticGPT can improve code review outcomes for 60% of the time.
“We’ve trained a model, based on GPT-4, called CriticGPT to catch errors in ChatGPT’s code output. We found that when people get help from CriticGPT to review ChatGPT code they outperform those without help 60% of the time,” OpenAI said.
The company says that it will soon integrate CriticGPT-like models into its Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) labeling pipeline, providing trainers with AI assistance.
