How hackers hit Poland’s Euro 2024 match broadcast for second time in a week

Hackers, for the second time in a week, disrupted the online broadcast of Poland’s Euro 2024 match. This time, the Polish team was playing against Austria when the cyberattack targeted the Polish team, according to the state broadcaster TVP.
It said that the hackers used a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack – a type of cyber attack that essentially overwhelms servers with massive amounts of traffic – preventing fans from watching the Group D match broadcast.
