After Qualcomm, Intel and AMD, MediaTek to make chips for Copilot+ AI PCs

MediaTek is reportedly developing an Arm-based chip for PCs that will run Microsoft’s Windows operating system. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, three people familiar with the matter have revealed that the Taiwanese chip maker will follow Qualcomm, Intel and AMD who have already announced chips that will power Copilot+ AI PCs. These chips will be available in the coming months, however, the AMD chips may arrive next year.
