NCRB 2022 Data

Cyber-crimes in India has registered a sharp increase of 24.4 pc in the year 2022 compared to 2021. The increase is witnessed both in States as well as 19 Metro cities. As per the latest data released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), the crime rate under cyber-crimes category increased from 3.9 in 2021 to 4.8 in 2022. Under cyber-crimes, a total of 65,893 cases were registered in 2022 in comparison to 52,974 cases in 2021.
