Regulatory Sandbox

In response to Trai’s consultation paper on the requirement of Regulatory Sandbox (RS) in Digital Communication Sector, telecom operators in their submissions asked the authority to not make regulatory sandbox mandatory for the telecom sector. They have also requested Trai to make light touch regulations regarding the sandbox.
