An important tender meant for the digitization of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) has been left hanging for the last three years. It was first invited in 2021 after the ministry of MSME allotted the work of project management consultancy (PMC) to Telecommunication Consultants India Ltd (TCIL), a company under the telecom ministry. In that tender, a Bengaluru based company called Dreamforce emerged as the L1 bidder at a gross cost of Rs 570 crore for a project period of 5 years, which was almost the same level as the estimated cost of the project.
