Renewal of MSO registration

Trai has come out with its recommendations on the renewal of registration of multi-service operator (MSO). Trai has said that the registration of the MSO should be done with a minimum of 10 years and renewal processing fee should be Rs 1 lakh. Also, the renewal of registrations should open not earlier than seven months from the date of expiry and not later than two months prior to the date of expiry.
