e-KYC setu

On December 6, 2022, ministry of finance through a notification has asked the UIDAI (Unique identification authority of India) and NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) to set-up new security measures for the e-verification of the Aadhar. The notification states that a new system called ‘e-KYC setu’ should be used by the entities for Aadhaar verification. Also, the upcoming systems should comply with the standards of privacy and security under the Aadhaar Act.
