New Communication Law

The Indian Telegraph Act, 1885; Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933, and Telegraph Wires (Unlawful Possession) Act, 1950 will become history. The government proposes to replace them with a simple and easy to understand law in this 75th year of independence. For this, the department of telecommunications (DoT) has floated a consultation paper inviting suggestions of all the stakeholders by August 25, 2022 on naveen.kumar71@gov.in.
