Ericsson Mobility Report

The latest edition of the Ericsson Mobility Report, June 2022 said that the current global 5G subscription will pass the 1 billion mark by the end of 2022 and by 2027, 5G will account for almost half of all subscriptions, topping 4.4 billion subscriptions.

According to the report, North America will be leading the world in the 5G subscription penetration in the next five years with nine-of-every-ten subscriptions in the region expected to be 5G by 2027.
