Competition Commission of India (CCI) ordered a detailed probe against the business practices of Apple’s App Store. In its 20-page order CCI said, prima facie, it looks “Apple has violated the provisions of Section 4(2)(a)-(e) of the Act which warrants detailed investigation”. It has directed director general (DG) to complete the investigation under the provisions of section 26(1) of the Act and submit the report within a period of 60 days.
