Countering shifting profits to low tax countries

A total of 136 countries (out of the 140 members of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS) including India have agreed a new two-pillar plan to reform international taxation rules ensuring that multinationals – Google, Facebook, Netflix and Microsoft – pay a minimum tax rate of 15 per cent wherever they operate.
