Data Scrapping

On April 19, CERT-In issued a public advisory where it advised Indian Facebook users to strengthen their account privacy settings. Advisory has been issued after the detection of a global ‘data scraping’ incident in the social media platform. The exposed information includes email address, profile ID, full name, job occupation, phone numbers and birth date.
