Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has made a huge prediction for OpenAI. In a recent interview, the co-foudner and President of the chip making giant has claimed that the Microsott-backed AI startup is sert to become the world’s next multi-trillion dollar company. Speaking on the BG2 podcast, Huang compared OpenAI’s future to current giants like Meta and Google, which operate consumer and enterprise services. \u201cI think that OpenAI is likely going to be the next multi-trillion dollar hyperscale company,\u201d Huang said. He also emphasized that this outlook makes the opportunity to invest in OpenAI one of \u201cthe smartest investments we can possibly imagine.\u201d Huang detailed that Nvidia is expanding its partnership with OpenAI to include building the firm’s first self-built AI infrastructure, working directly with them \u201cat the chip level, at the software level, at the systems level.\u201d This new project is additive to Nvidia’s existing work with OpenAI via Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
