{"id":960938,"date":"2025-09-11T16:28:59","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T10:58:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/?p=960938"},"modified":"2025-09-11T16:30:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T11:00:07","slug":"globallogic-ericsson-partner-to-deploy-private-5g-for-hitachi-rail-in-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/2025\/09\/11\/globallogic-ericsson-partner-to-deploy-private-5g-for-hitachi-rail-in-us\/","title":{"rendered":"GlobalLogic, Ericsson partner to deploy private 5G for Hitachi Rail in US"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Digital engineering and solutions company GlobalLogic has deployed a private 5G network for Hitachi Rail\u2019s facility in Hagerstown, Maryland, USA, in collaboration with Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson. <\/p>\n<p>The companies said in a joint statement Thursday that the 5G network is enabling advanced automation, worker safety, and the scalability of innovative industrial solutions at the 307,000 square foot factory. <\/p>\n<p>The Hagerstown facility, capable of producing up to 20 railcars each month, is strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for advanced rail manufacturing across North America, while setting a new benchmark for digital-first, smart manufacturing, Ericsson and GlobalLogic said. <\/p>\n<p>As an Ericsson private 5G ecosystem partner, GlobalLogic was responsible for technical and business consulting, full deployment and integration of the dedicated high-speed wireless broadband network into the plant\u2019s processes, as well as complete network lifecycle management and end-to-end service delivery. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrivate 5G connectivity is a game-changer for advanced manufacturing environments.
