The scam, which took place over five weeks, was executed through Telegram messages, fake websites, and false assurances of high returns.<\/p>\n<p>According to a complaint filed by Arif (name changed), a resident of KG Halli, with the East CEN Crime police on Aug 26, the fraud occurred between July 16 and Aug 22.
